Nut Allergy Warning
"I recently purchased this scent in a physical location. I loved the scent and the length that it lasted. It was recommended because I liked "Into the Wild" which is no longer available in EDT, and it was a good replacement scent-wise.
After the first day wearing this, I went to bed with a migraine and a catch in the back of my throat. I thought maybe I overdid it or maybe I was getting sick.
Day two, I was coughing and wheezing after a couple of hours at work.
I looked up this product online on a whim, thinking it might have something to do with it. Part of the fragrance (listed in the ingredients on the physical product as just "Fragrance (Parfum)" contains Pralines. Pralines are candied nuts. A nut product. This is an extremely common allergy and some people, myself included, experience an allergic reaction based on scent. This EDT caused that for me and I caution anyone else with the allergy against the scent, especially if you are extremely allergic like I am. I experienced no skin reaction, but my throat definitely swelled, which is uncomfortable.
Needless to say, love the product, just can't have it. Would give it a 4, maybe even a 5, if it had a warning on the physical product."

Amazing scent!
"I absolutely love this scent! I normally spend $95 on my perfume, had a coupon and figured I would stop in. I am so glad I did!! I smell great and saved a ton. My boyfriend loves it and I get complimented everywhere I go!"

Doesn't let you down
"This scent seems to never let me down. I usually walk out the door with 2 spritz of this on my shirt while I use the body spritz on my wrist and neck. It's not as long lasting as I wanted it to be, but it fades in a good 6 to 7 hours I would say. This scent in general is my favorite scent and just had to buy the perfume for it. I never did regret it!"

Replacing my $$$ perfume!
"For a long time I was wearing an expensive perfume that I absolutely adored. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to find it in ANY store... not even online! So I went to B&BW hoping to find a new perfume. I smelled Country Chic and was amazed at how similar it smelled to my old perfume and knew I HAD to buy it and I'm so glad I did! I'm so impressed by the composition of this perfume. To me it smells like apples and lemons when I first put it on, and it fades into a warm floral scent. And to my great surprise, it actually lasts longer than my old perfume did! I will definitely be buying this again and probably stocking up on the lotion and body wash as well ;)

Fantastic
"I love everything Country Chic. I love the scent, with the lemony opening notes to the woodsy, wildflowery finish, yum! The packaging is very reminiscent to me of the original BBW, which I loved. This smells like one of my very expensive perfumes, like several reviewers stated. I don't buy expensive perfume anymore, since there is no reason to. I personally love the simple blue gingham bottle. I think it' really clean and pretty. Happy happy!"

Beautiful Fragrance!!!!
"This is by far one of the best fragrances B&BW has ever created! You just can't go wrong with this one! I avoided it for a while just because I thought the name sounded a little silly! But I got past that as soon as I got a whiff! Country Chic is a very interesting fragrance and the first thing that I noticed was an immediate burst of clean lemon which was soon followed by clean soft florals, and then was joined by a very pretty woodsy smell. Rather than being sweet or smelling like candy, this fragrance is very clean, crisp, and addictive!!! It also smells similar to a very high dollar fragrance that I had been wearing. I can't say enough good things about Country Chic! I can see myself still wearing this fragrance ten yrs. down the road! It really does smell that good! I bought the shower gel, lotion, body cream, and EDT! And I'm so happy that I did! I will be re-purchasing this again and again! Please B&BW, don't ever discontinue Country Chic! I also love wearing this fragrance out. People ask me what I'm wearing every time I have it on!"

Disgustingly Awful Stench
"When I smell this infectious STENCH, I can't imagine anyone actually having the nerve to wear it in public.
First- When you first spray it on, it smells like flowery rain, for three seconds.
Second- You begin the dry-down. It's awful. Not unlike the horrid smelling, wet cat, over-powering, (we'll just say....Mature) Mature, WAY to horrifically flowery, fragrance mist, this perfume with kind of a stupid flannel shirt print bottle fails to please. This scent I do not feel matches anyone's taste of style.
Honestly, this is just plain disgusting. I'm in agony when the awful smell fills my nose.
Another thing- the bottle is sort of supposed to be ironic, right!? Because the stench inside of this strangely printed glass is far from simple. It's Complicated-not in a good way even the slightest bit."

The Smell of Wine and cheap Perfume
"Oh my. This smells STRONG, OVERPOWERING, and very HEADACHE-Y and BORING. No way I would ever wear this. Give this to your trash can. The only reason i give it two stars is because it has a CUTE BOTTLE. It smells CHEAP and like you haven't washed in days."

Perfect Melody!
"I absolutely love this scent because it is light a fresh but with a floral hint. Its smells like the outdoors but not in a woodsy way, but more of fresh wind blown meadows. If you are a person who like slightly powder and lightly floral, this is the one for you! The perfume stays much longer than the body spray so I recommend purchasing the perfume even though it is more expensive."

Great buy!!!
"I went into bath and body works trying to find my first eau de toilette and smelled all of them and this one seemed to smell better than all of them. So, I bought it and I LOVE it. It is one of the best things I have bought from Bath and Body Works. I know it may seem expensive but it lasts a very long time, much longer than the mist. I highly recommend this product!!!!!!!!"

Smells like cheap perfume
"I read the reviews on this scent and most of them seemed quite favorable. I'm sorry I didn't have the same response. To make sure it was not "just me" and to be fair, I wore this scent three different times, and every time, with every note it reminded me of cheap drug store perfume. It was my first "miss" with a Bath and Body Works product."

"This is by far one of their better newer scents. It's omg so good. It has a light scent so it's not over powering for every day use. Wish they did a bit better on the detail of the bottle. It's just too plain. But the fragrance make up for it."

Smells Great
"This smells almost exactly like a designer perfume I wear (hint: it's an apple-shaped bottle), except not as woodsy. This costs maybe 1/3 the price, so once I run out of my other perfume I can switch to this alternative."

Best Perfume ever
"I don't think this scent represents "country", its more flirty than country but i loooove the scent and my boyfriend does too. Its totally worth the cost and whoever created this perfume is genius."

"i would probably buy this if the name wasn't so cheesy. there is nothing country about this. country scent would be cows milk and gasoline. the packaging is disgusting. too bad :("

Better then the spray !!
"The spray is slightly more floral then the EDT, this one is much more like the lotion form, and is SO nice !! Layered with the lotion and shower gel, it's FANTASTIC !!"
