"This is unisex to me, but for most women I think it has more of a manly scent, which makes it completely sensual. I don't mind wearing scents that are unisex as long as they aren't the fresh sporty type. Those just smell like deo instead of fine perfume. The blackberry seems smokey and woodsy, like blackberries in a forest. I don't get a lot of vanilla from it, but maybe it mellows everything out."

Smells like incense to me...
"Opened a new bottle of this today at work to keep on my desk, but had to give it away. It has a very long lasting scent. I could only imagine a incense burning. Wished I loved it, but didn't. However, the girl I gave it to really liked it. That's why I gave it 3 stars."

My Favorite Scent!!
"Other than the discontinued sleep lotion this is probably my favorite aromatherapy scent and overall product at bath and body works! It's so soothing and moisturizing and I always wear this on dates! It must work because my dates always end well ;) i like to think of it as my good luck charm! My only complaint is the price. I only buy this when I have a coupon and make sure to have back ups!"

Love this scent
"I love this scent. It was coming with a body spray don't kno what happened to that REALLY miss it. I wish it also had a heavy body butter and a pillow mist would be nice but I will take it anyway i can get it. Have been using it for some years now."

Beautiful Scent
"This is a strong scent and has amazing staying power. It is not for everyone but I am very fond of it, I use all the products together and I love it. It's one of those scents you need to smell for yourself and if you like it get it, it's a scent you will either love or hate. It has a relaxing factor to me, so I use it instead of Lavender Vanilla at times. Wonderful product though!"

Husband Repellant
"If you are looking to repel your mate/partner/husband/boyfriend, then this is the scent for you!
Yesterday afternoon, after taking a shower and lathering this "sensual" stuff all over my body, I dressed and donned my apron, making dinner for my hard working husband and excitedly anticipating his arrival and the "sensuality" my aroma was sure to evoke.
When he did arrive, I was met with exactly the opposite reaction. In fact, he could hardly be in the same room with me, let alone eat at the same table for dinner (and let me tell you, this man typically cannot keep his hands off me).
Here are just a smattering of the phrases he used to describe this Black Currant Vanilla Lotion:
"Please take a shower."
"You smell like the inside of a cab."
"You are making me nauseous."
"This smell reminds me of Ike, the bouncer at a club I used to frequent in my undergrad days. He had man boobs.
"Seriously. Can you take a shower?"

I personally liked the scent, and typically am a fan of stronger, more complex fragrances, especially in the wintertime.
But apparently this was a bit too strong for my man. Instead I shall go back to my Jasmine Vanilla, the other Aromatherapy scent in the Sensual line - a scent that I've loved for years and has always made good on its' promise of inspiring sexy self confidence....and sensuality."

Best Scent Ever!
"This is my favorite scent from the Aromatherapy line. It's a bit masculine, but not so much that I feel weird wearing it as a woman. Others on here claim that they can't smell the vanilla but it's definitely there. It sweetens the scent of the black currant, toning it down quite a bit."

Very Pleased - Best Value & Scent
"This is sensual for BOTH sexes, very relaxing & aids in RELAXATION, SLEEP & PEACEFUL DREAMING. I was soo pleased to see it was on sale & I tried it for the first time. Since then, I've bought several additional bottles. I usually change my scents up fairly often. This is one you won't grow tired of. The best part: It tends to LAST. I apply at night after a shower & the scent is still present in the morning, no need to reapply. I use the matching foam bath for a quick bird bath throughout the week between full showers/bathing, and reapply the lotion lightly. I don't have to shampoo/wash as often as others due to my skin & hair type so this keeps me looking, smelling & feeling clean & fresh ALL WEEK LONG. I adore it! :)"

"Fall in love with this body lotion, I used to wear Japanese cherry blossom but since my husband got it for me with the body mist, I wear it in everyday, most of my friends asked about it, but BBW is no longer have it in body mist please please get it back in store."

very strong
"I bought this lotion because I really liked the other smells from the aromatherapy line, especially eucalyptus mint but this one just isn't for me. I mean it is OK but not great. It is VERY strong at first smell but quickly dies down, this is one scent I would hate to smell if I had a headache. The smell does last farely long which is good for those who enjoy this."

So sexy
"I absolutely love this. I agree with others when they say the vanilla kind of hides like a base scent, but that doesn't bother me. The smell is dark and and like a semi-smokey smell. I can't describe it, but it's so beautiful, it's intoxicating almost. I love it."

Didn't care for this one at all....
"I bought the body wash and lotion on line,so I took a chance and to be fair, I didn't know what the scent would actually be like. VERY STRONG! My husband smelled it down the hall before even getting to me. He has very bad allergies and he couldn't stand it!!! It's very musky and I want to say .. a sandalwood type of scent. I didn't care for the way it reacted on me at all..I mean, just the scent, nothing else. I'm returning it. No biggie.. if you like a strong, sandalwood scent, this is for you!"

I LOVE THIS SCENT!
"True to the title, I absolutely love this scent. I don't smell much of the vanilla in it, it just hides in the shadows as an almost unnoticeable undertone. This is the strongest scent that BBW sells, it lasts for days. I can put this scented lotion on one day and when I do laundry a week later, my clothing smells like I just sprayed it. It is EXTREMELY MUSKY and it's enticing and sexy (it is so true to the "Sensual" label). My mom bought this lotion when I was sixteen and I would use quarter pump of it every morning before I ran out the door to go to school. My fiancé loves this scent because I used to wear this lotion every morning, and after holding hands he could smell it all day while we were at school. It reminds both of us of when we started dating, and the love and passion that we have been able to keep going for the past five and a half years This lotion not only smells like liquid fire and sensuality, it is so creamy and moisturizing. If it didn't have any scent at all, I would still use this lotion.
As I have said before, C. O. Bigelow is usually a bit more pricey than regular BBW products, and there aren't very many of their products that I would buy at full price, but I would buy this lotion (and body wash, bubble bath and body mist) if it cost $50 a bottle. This is the ultimate product at BBW and nothing (I mean NOTHING) can top it. I own at least three bottles of this lotion at any given time and at least one body wash/bubble bath. This is one of my all time favorite products EVER, and I highly recommend it."

love love LOVE
"this is absolutely not a masculine scent. unisex maybe. i love this one of my favourites. i usually apply the lotion after i shower in the evening and my husband loves it he cant stop sniffing it when i apply. i use the shower gel for special occasions only. too expensive!! but a keeper hope BBW never discontinues this one for sure, i'll cry!!"

Very Unique, Absolutely loved it!
"I don't usually go for this kind of scent, but my mother recommended it to me so I thought I would try it out. When I did I totally loved it. I think this scent is great for anybody. It is a little expansive but once you start using it you will fall in love!"
