Keeps Getting Better for Me
"I tried this lotion a while back, and was not that impressed with it at first. I did think that it was very medicinal smelling--strong and not like a typical BBW fragrance. But I always give things a little time when I first try them, because sometimes things grow on me, and that is definitely what happened in this case. It is strong at first, but it drys down in about a half hour into a very pleasant, faint minty scent. It is the dry down that I have really grown to love--very fresh and not like anything else. For me, this scent is for the nighttime. The therapy really does work for me, in the sense of helping me relax. I am enjoying this lotion more and more as time goes on, and now I cannot imagine being without it. I would like to suggest if people around your work place are having trouble with the strong scent, but you don't want to give up the basic scent, try the fine fragrance mist in this line--(not the body mist--that's pretty strong.) I love the fine fragrance mist because its a light, fresh smell that's basically like the aromatherapy but not quite as strong. I can't imagine that people would be bothered by that one. I use the FFM during the day as a refreshing pick-me-up, and the stronger products at night, for relaxation. Just a suggestion! 4 1/2 stars for this lotion."

"Right before I was supposed to have shoulder surgery March 2013, my friend gave me this lotion as a "good luck" gift. When I opened and smelled it, I was surprised I actually really liked it. I find it soothing and relaxing. I agree, I think it is unisex, I find my bf uses this lotion and likes it. I ended up buying the pillow spray which I ended up liking better than the lotion."

"Well done Aromatherapy, I luv the Eucalyptus Spearmint Stress Relief. I am surprised to read that some complain that the scent is overpowering, I find it to be just the opposite, very soft & calming. On a whim I purcahsed the lotion & body wash & foam bath. I have no regret & truly enjoy the relaxing, clean smelling fragrance. The fragrance does linger but it is soothing & not at all overpowering. I'm also pleased that it leaves me feeling moisturized without that ugly oily feeling."

Overpowering
"This lotion is one reason my office is considering a fragrance free policy. Someone used it on the hands only, and soon the entire office smelled like this lotion. Some of us complained of headaches and breathing problems. This is not aromatherapy or stress relief - more like aromatorture. Bath and Body Works, please remember the personal zone rule when creating fragrances. If someone uses a small amount, and an entire office can smell it, it's too strong."

Caution: Overpowering fragrance
"My office-mate has this lotion, and I had to ask her to take it home. The fragrance is overwhelming. It lingers for an hour or so. This may be a bonus for some, but if the scent is making you feel bad, it's really not. The fragrance in this lotion's scent is very overwhelming in a small space, like an office. I eventually had to ask my office-mate to take it home because I needed to cover my nose and mouth every time she used it, due to the strong fragrance.
To be fair, my office-mate really likes this lotion and the fragrance. I personally cannot tolerate the strength of this fragrance, it's overpowering and I would need to leave our office just to escape it. For me, this scent is the opposite of stress relief..."

Excellent scent, but not as moisturizing as creams
"My friend bought this for me in December, and I still have about 1/3 of the bottle left. I get very dry skin, so I use it a lot, great value for how long it lasts! The scent is very light, and not overpowering at all. However, it does not moisturize as well as creams and butters. I find that it does just a fair job of keeping my skin hydrated, and I mainly use it if I want to smell fresh, or apply it soon after I have put on a cream of some sort. Overall, awesome stuff, love the glass bottle!"

Literally made me ILL!
"My office-mate has this lotion, and it literally made me ill. I have allergies and asthma, and this lotion triggered it big time. The fragrance is completely overwhelming and lingers for an hour or more. I finally had to ask my office-mate to take this lotion home and never bring it back, as it triggered an asthma attack for me on more than one occasion. If you have allergies, asthma, or are just sensitive to strong fragrances, DO NOT buy this product! This is by far the most potent fragrance I have ever smelled in a lotion. I like BBW's other scented lotions, and have never had problems with them triggering asthma symptoms, but this is just too over the top and not worth the potential ill health side effects."

"Love..Love this scent....When I breathe it in, my whole body calms down. Just seems I am unable to find the refills for my wallflowers. Hoping for a body butter also. That would be great !"

"I thought with all the good reviews I would give this lotion a try. I am very disappointed. It is quite strong and it smells like mens cologne to me. It is not relaxing, if anything it gives me a headache."

Awesome Product
"I received this lotion as a gift from my mother-in-law for x-mas 2012 and fell absolutely in love with it. So, I went back March 2013 and purchased the shower-gel+lotion set (great combo deal), shampoo, conditioner, and travel size lotion (one for me and one for mom). This stuff is perfect after a long day of stressing out and sore muscles. The scent will take away the worries and leave you felling cool, calm and collected. Very moisturizing and easy on sensitive skin like mine. My hubby also enjoys it enough to use it every now and then. Perfect for massage."

Unique Scent
"I really like this scent. It is very soothing and relaxing. I think it is unisex, my husband uses the body wash and really likes it. I had a coworker use this lotion at work one day and quite a few people around us were making comments asking what smelled like motor oil. I was shocked! I love the smell but I guess it's not for everybody."

Wonderful....
"I bought the "mini" version of this product only because I didn't want to be stuck with an entire bottle if I didn't like it when I got home. Well, I've been using it nonstop since then and can't say enough about this entire line of products from Bath and Body Works. The scent is not overpowering at all, and brings about a sense of calm whenever I use it. I also bought the mini bottles of shampoo/conditioner and will probably be putting the full sized bottles on my Christmas wish list this year."
