My Fave!
"I would say that this is my fave since i was in high school (10 years ago, and it still in the old bottle..) And this is the first BBW product that i purchased and Re-purchase...
Basically, i like something baby powder scent. With a hint of (Maybe) Lavender and musk. And this is good.. I like to wear it before i sleep. It can relaxing my mind, and make me feel better.
I just love Moonlight Path!"

Too Powdery... Turns me off!!!
"I got this product just yesterday and it smells like some cheap talcum powder!!!
It is way too powdery and completely turned me off. I had to take a bath and then go to bed to get rid of that smell.
Not feminine at all and smells like some cheap product.
Now the name itself is turning me off and i get this sick feeling in my stomach!
This ones definitely not for me!!!"

"(Note: I am reviewing based on the "old" product, the mist that came before the FFMs).
Moonlight Path is yet another product that I didn't like right off the bat that grew on me after a time. I have tried MP many times over the years, and it took that long for me to really appreciate it. Every time I tried it in stores it would come across smelling funny on me. I decided to try the shower gel because I have had many instances lately where people have commented on how great the gel is. I discovered that Moonlight Path is incredibly RELAXING to me. There is no note in the fragrance that especially stands out to me, except for maybe the lavender. I had bought a bottle of the mist at the last semi annual and decided to try layering, since the gel didn't really last that long on me once I was out of the shower. I was SO suprised at how much I LOVED it!! It didn't smell funny to me at all this time, just really soft. The mist smelled a little bit powdery after a short while, which can turn some people off, but the fragrance dried down is going to be what keeps me coming back. It is so wearable, it lasts, and it is non-offensive - great for everyday or office wear. Furthermore, I think this scent could really be worn year round. I tend to wear different scents depending on the season but I don't think this one has to be confined to just one time of year.
I would say that this product definitely deserves a shot - or, if you are like me, multiple shots. I am thinking that maybe the other times I tried it any other fragrance I happened to be wearing clashed with MP, because it doesn't seem to be a body chemistry issue like I once thought. If nothing else, MP is wonderful for those times when you just need a few moments of relaxation. :)"

Still a fan but bring back the orginal
"I received this as a gift from my sister years ago and absolutely fell in love with it and have been using it ever since. But I have to agree with a lot of these reviews that ever since they changed the packaging, the fragrance changed too. I get a lot of complements and only use Moonlight Path but I wish they would bring back the original bottle and fragrance! I too have a little left in my original bottle and notice a big difference with the new bottle and the smell. I love BBW but if your reading this review and the others like it, please bring the original Moonlight Fragrance! Still a fan, just wish you would bring back the orginal!"

Hair spray
"I have a TON of BBW products. I change my scent with my mood and seasons. I have tried this scent several times since it first came out, mostly because every time they change the packaging, someone says the scent changes. I see all the rave reviews but time after time I smell the same thing, Hair spray. It smells EXACTLY like the old aqua net cheap hairspray. If you like the scent, save some money and just go get some aqua net. definitely not a scent for me."

Alcohol and Deodorant?
"When I went into the store and purchased this, it smelled good I even sprayed it on me, I have had this product for two weeks and it smell had decreased. I was just smelling it and spraying it on me and it smelled like rubbing alcohol and feminine deodorant and not like the normal scent of moonlight path, which I truly love. With this new packaging moonlight path has decreased with its sprays. I am disappointed truthfully. The scent fades quickly and it makes you choke. It lasts good for a couple weeks and then it descends."

"I received this as a gift, and i'll be honest at first i wasn't crazy about it. It has a very strong scent and at first has a very powdery smell. After awhile though the powdery smell develops into a musky/floral scent, which really appealed to me. I couldn't stop smelling my wrist! I prefer heavier scents because all of the bath & body works mists fade on me within 10 minutes...not this though! This lasted for hours. This is a strong scent I know thats not for everyone, but if mists fade on you and you like a powdery/floral scent this is it. Less is def more with this...you don't need to use a lot."

"I got this scent for my mom as a mothers day gift, it was actually a whole set with shower gel , lotion, and spray and she fell in love ... She's very picky with her fragrances but it was deff. The best gift for her because she loves it and puts it on everyday.

Not the same
"Something in this scent has changed along with the new packaging. This used to be a light & intoxicating fragrance that was softly floral, and had a hint of musk with a soft baby powder fragrance. Now it goes on sickly sweet and smacks you in the face with powder smell, and it's just too much. I have a bit left in an old bottle that smells just the way it always has since I first started wearing this in high school, but this new stuff definitely smells different, and NOT AS GOOD! I didn’t buy any the last time I was in the B&B store. I'm hoping they undo whatever they've done that's different and bring the original moonlight path scent back!"

Not a fan...
"I don't know but I guess this fragrance just isn't for me. Lots of people really enjoy this fragrance but I am not one of them. I just don't like it I guess. The scent is too strong for me and just doesn't appeal to my sense of fragrance. Totally going back to the store. The only thing I like is the name."

Bring back the original!
"This is the only perfume my mom and I will wear. We were running low and went to the store to repurchase. I don't know what happened, but it smells nothing like the old bottle. We did not repurchase and we don't like any of the other fragrances that you sell! Please bring back the original! We are very disappointed. I never write negative reviews, but I am hoping that you will reconsider.

worst purchase ever
"My mom bought this fragrance . And most of the time we share each others fragrance but this one right here i will not wear and its still a whole bottle .She purchase it about 3 or 4 months ago.And the other fragrance we purchased are at least half way or more. It reminds me of men's cologne.Ugggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .........................."

What are they thinking???
"This is my first review ever. I am a long time customer and have loved the Moonlight Path Fragrance Mist. What a HUGE mistake to change it. The new packaging is bulky and the new scent is stronger and heavier. A mist should be a mist not a spray cologne. What a huge disappointment! You know what they say about something that is not broken - Don't fix it!!!!"

Musky & Heavy
"I wanted to like this one, but it was too masculine, musky & heavy. I don't get the moonlit path analogy at all ... no moonlit paths I've ever encountered have smelled this way. Too heavy for everyday use, although perhaps it depends on your body chemistry."

Doesn't smell quite like it did years ago
"I have been using this fragrance for years since it first came out (and when Bath and Body Works first opened in my area). B&BW had talked about discontinuing it, but didn't. Anyway, something is different about this fragrance since it originally debuted. It used to have a more intense clean and fresh and floral smell that was crisp and addictive. Now it smells similar, but falls somewhat flat. It lacks a note that made it better years ago. In fact when I first started wearing it, I actually had a women in the store ask me what I was wearing. I never get that anymore. I still use it as my #1 B&BW fragrance because I am too old to smell like a food item. Unlike some other B&BW fragrances, this doesn't make me smell like cake icing. However, I don't know why B&BW had to mess with an already great fragrance. Haven't they ever heard of the old adage...."If it ain't broke, don't fix it"."
