"I found Black Amethyst to be a very sensual but intoxicating fragrance. Designed with total sophistication in mind but daring enough for a Temptress as well. Black Amethyst... wear it with confidence and shine brighter than any diamond on the planet. Bring it back to the stores, please. :)"

"So upset this is getting discontinued. This is the scent that brought me back to bath and body works I am not the fruity soft scent type of girl.. there is hardly a choice for anything else. This is a great scent, Please do not stop making this. I am a true fan."

"Best fragrance they've ever put out. And they're discontinuing it??? Really??? That's very upsetting. I like the fact that it doesn't smell all fruity. Not everyone wants to smell like a fruit basket all the time. Maybe you should discontinue one of the berry fragrances you have instead."

"I have been diagnosed with anosmia which means I don't have a sense of smell, however, I actually did smell this a couple of times and I loved it! I wish it had not been discontinued. I can't smell anything else in the store."

Why are you doing this to me B&BW?
"Why is this scent being discontinued?? It is my favorite scent not only at B&BW but anywhere! I always get compliments when I wear the body spray, and my husband loves it as much as I do! Please don't do this! This scent deserves to be continued!"

Love Black Amethyst
"I think this is one of those fragrances that has to be discovered, and if discontinued it won't have a chance to really blossum. To me the fragrance has a bit of a Patchouli scent to it. I almost didn't buy the shower gel because I thought it would be better for a man but I do love it for myself. This is great for both sexes I realize. I love to wash with this in the shower and even try to get a bit more scent from it near my nose so I can smell it better. It's the same price as the others just wish it all was a bit cheaper."

"So I hadn't been in to B&B in a couple months because every time I got I stock up on this fragrance. It has been my fav since it came out!! I looked all around the store and it was gone. What? I thought to myself they have just moved it somewhere that I am not looking so they can get there holiday scent out. I ask where it had been moved to and she told me it had been discontinued. I said what? My heart really did sink a little. I cannot believe this has been discontinued! I can def recommend a few other scents that can be discontinued instead of this one. Please bring it back!! It stinks that I had to pay shipping on this today! Very disappointed!!"

Best Fragrance Ever
"I first have to say how B&BW's change was not for the better. Fragrances have lost their umph and now (for the majority) smell like cheap convenience store products. The packaging is cheap and of course costs more and the nozzle stops working all together when the bottle is tilted in the slightest. Black Amethyst is being discontinued because I guess women now prefer to smell like the beach or a winter wonderland. The fragrance has an almost actual perfume scent and lasts longer than most. I wish people would just stick to what's good and stop inventing."

"Without excessive rambling: simply another one of my favorites. Warm and sultry; perfect for colder seasons.
I am not reviewing this particular formula; this new "fine fragrance mist" formula for all their fragrances are complete garbage. They're TOO light and subtle and have no lasting power. So, my review is based on the old formula that was long-lasting and had a good consistency of fragrance."

Save Black Amethyst
"Shocked to see no Black Amethyst at the local B&BW and find that it is being discontinued. This is my fiance's favorite scent on me. He absolutely loves it and asks me to wear it. A total turn on. Possibly why I got engaged.... Will leave B&BW for good if this goes as everything else you offer is too icky sweet. Please save BA - none of your other offerings are memorable and sexy!"
