Great fresh scent!
"Like many others, I was bored of the monotony of Bath & Body Works. Instead of coming out with new and interesting scents, they were recycling old ones. This is different.
It is fresh and interesting, and definitely unique! It has so many different layers and notes, but it's still light and clean. Definitely an "everyday" scent!
You can put this on and not worry about having an overpowering smell, but at the same time, it lasts all day. When you first spray it, the smell is a bit more citrusy, but as it wears, it becomes more floral. It reminds me of a sunny summer day.
I got this when it was on sale, but it is definitely a scent I would pay full price for because it is so interesting and not monotonous.

"I've always loved the way Country Chic smelled and i finally got around to buying the fragrance and I am OBSESSED. I always get compliments like "you so smell good" even from guys! (its really hard to find scents that both guys and girls find appealing). Defiantly buying some more Country Chic products. (mine got stolen out of my school bag which is sad, but def says something about the fragrance!)"

Ideal Country Chic
"I love this scent so much I took it with me on a road trip with my boyfriend to Houghton, Michigan now every time I smell it there's just a perfect memory of that four day trip with him it really reminds me of the ideal country chic I really was in the middle of no where and it was just relaxing the scent mixed with the setting on where I was!"

Chic is fabulous!
"I had a terrible scent association to a disliked person with it, so I decided because of it I hated it! A year later, I was testing scents in the store and the manager suggested I try it. I put my foot down and insisted that I didn't like it because of the association. Then a few weeks later, I found a travel size in a drawer, before I pitched it I sprayed it to smell again and realized that I wasn't having a scent association with it and fell in love with it. The scent brings to mind the country and it's light and refreshing, for those who like Carried Away and Sweet Pea, you should like this! Wonderful lingering scent!"

The Perfect Combination of Floral and Fresh
"I love Country Chic! I always think of summertime meadows with daisies and a stream running through when I smell this fragrance, if that makes any sense. What I love about this scent is that it's the perfect combination of both floral and fresh categories, with its delicate white florals and bold lemon, just as the description says. The only problem I have with this scent is that although it's supposed to be nice and subtle, it's a little too mild and short-lasting; and I have to spray it several times before I can smell it without touching my nose to where I sprayed it, and for it to last a while. But other than that, Country Chic is an awesome scent, and I recommend this to those like myself who love both florals and fragrances!"

Love It
"I must have smelled a dozen scents while browsing. When I found this one, I instantly fell in love. Reminds me of spring at my Grandmother's in Bristol, FL, and swimming trips to Lake Mystic. Refreshingly country!"

"This scent was OK when I first purchased it, but after a while of smelling it, it reminds me of musk and sweat. I know that sounds disguisting but that is what I get from it. Everyone says "The best clean scent ever" but I get a disgusting sweaty smell from this, perhaps its just my skin chemistry with this scent? None the less, I will not be purchasing again."

Where it all started...
"Once this scent was released, everything from B&BW started being duplicate. I like this scent, but everything released after it was piggy backing off of it. I wish B&BW would be unique like they used to be. Im sick of all the scents smelling like perfume. That wasnt how B&BW started so why did it change?? Anyways, this has alot of lemon and alot of sweet florals, but its just ok."

I like it!!
"I was looking for something fresh and this delivered, The notes really come through on this, at least for my body chemistry. I get the lemon scent first, then the raspberries, then a little gardenia. I have a bunch of the original gardenia from BBW so I'm very happy that the last scent to come through and stay is my favorite scent of all time. It is strong, so while some say use it in the spring/summer, I prefer to wear strong scents in the winter and being reminded of spring in the winter puts me in a good mood. I'll be wearing this a lot!"

Well...
"This is going completely off the old bottles, but it's so-so for me. I don't love it, but it's not bad enough for me to say I dislike it either. The citris tone is a bit too strong for my liking but it's not awful. I won't be returning Country Chic but I probably won't purchase it again either."

So Fresh
"Actually, Country Chic isn't my fave. But sometimes, its smell could increase my mood because its freshen. i could find the strong citus-ish on it, and then it turns to a bot soft fruity-floral in a minute. I like to wear it in a day, but not in night time.
For those who everyone looking for something fresh-fruty in a time. maybe you can try this one. And, i like the body lotion does. Smell so fresh!"

Hmmm............
"I bought a small bottle of this, before the grand redesign of all the packaging. From the sounds of some of the reviews, the packaging isn't all that's different. I liked it alot, but unlike some of the other reviewers, I thought it was more of a cool weather fragrance, with the musk and amber and patchouli. I also have to question the rep who steered me to this as a substitute for Green Clover and Aloe. They are totally different.
I've said before that the new packaging is stunning, but if it's causing the price to go up and the quality to go down, well, like I said, hmmm................."
