smells nice, but burns improperly
"This candle smells wonderful, but I am disappointed with its performance. It tunnels horribly and the wick gets ashy at the top, eventually burning itself out. A properly wicked candle should melt the wax completely to the edge and continue burning until the wax dissapates. This candle does neither and I would not recommend it to anyone. As much as I love Slatkin and Co. candles, this product has failed to live up to standards."

VERY IMPRESSED
"I picked up White Sands in the 4 oz size to try it for the first time.
Unlike the previous reviews, I was pretty impressed with the scent throw of this candle; despite its smaller size. I have it placed on an end table in my living room; which is a fairly large space, and although certainly not powerful enough to fill the entire room, it did do a competent job of offering a really nice waft of fragrance.
I also noticed that even when it wasn't lit, you can still get a sense of the fragrance as you pass by it.. I placed the candle in one of BBW's sleeve/stands, and it really makes a nice decorative piece out of a relatively small candle."

No Throw
"It is a beachy scent, but no one can smell it unless they hold it to their nose. Exchanging this for another "Summer Boardwalk", which fills the house with it's summery scent."

NO!
"This scent is so light in 4 oz. form. You can only smell it if you're close to it. This candle tunneled terribly too. I'd go with the 3-wick. This is a light beachy scent. It reminds me of last year's "Beachside." The scent itself is very light. Don't epxect too much out of it!"
