Girly without being too girly
"Nice light lemony scent with a flowery touch. Nice clean girly scent without being overly perfumey. I was not crazy about it at first but it has grown on me and I find myself reaching for it more often. Good for a trip to town for some errands."

Needs a Reformulation!
"This scent has potential. But, it needs to be reformulated.
I thought CC was going to smell more "fresh".Instead it smelled more sweet and lemony.
I think the notes for the shower gel are the same as the fragrance mist instead of what is listed because I can pick up certain notes that are in the mist.And guess what's in it? Yep.... VANILLA! I just don't understand why B&BW HAS to put vanilla in almost everything they make. It DOES NOT go with EVERY flower, fruit or herb!

What Country Chic smells like to me:
Lemon flavored hard candies mixed with dry hay and faint flowers. There is also a slight off-putting note that smells like poo.I think the problem is that lemon,marigold, and flowers DO NOT mix well with the sweet notes.

The following perfume notes need to go: Juicy Pear, Peach Nectar,Vanilla Orchid,Praline, and Amber. And cut back just a bit on the lemon.
Why is Praline in the list? Praline is a candy.It does not go with flowers.And peach can turn other perfume notes sour and rancid.

It seems these days that B&BW caters to the teens and sweet-tooths and they get rid of the fragrance lines that had alot going for them. Such a shame.

Loveeeee it
"I absolutely love this , I bought the mini size one , just to try it out and I'm going to buy myself the whole set. The smell of this is absolutely wonderful. It's fruity , but it's refreshing . I can't wait to buy more . Oh and the splash smells just like the lotion , and that's a good thing bc some lotions on here smell way different than the splash."

Summer in a bottle
"This has a lot of fruity notes but together they smell more fresh and clean. This is quite a strong scent but not too overpowering for me."

I Heart Country Chic!!!!
"I wasn't sure when I first tried it in the shower, but the next morning.....
My skin was soft , smooth, had a healthy glow, and relaxingly clean.
It smelled sweet, light, and feminine- like citrus and wild flowers. It's subtle yet sweet.
I know taking a leap of faith with a citrus-y kind scent is hard, but if you like smelling beautiful, looking, and feeling amazing then give Country Chic a try!
Grade A+!!!!!"

Amazing scent
"I'm not a girly girl, and this is PERFECT. It's not overly flowery or sweet, but a great fresh scent that won't give me a headache and won't tire me of it. I always stay in the Fresh collection, and this was a nice addition :) It's girly without being overly so."

On the fence with Country Chic
"Country Chic reminds me of strong ice tea with a large lemon squeezed into it. Now imagine sipping on that next to the blooming garden. By all means it sounds nice but I really cant get into it. While the fragrance is not offensive its not appealing enough for me to consider another purchase of it.

"This works best when you know what your doing! What you do is put about a dime sized in your hands and rub it all over your body. Then, wait a few minutes with out washing it off (I know it sounds weird) and then wash it off. It also makes a lingering smell in the bathroom. When you dry yourself up, smell your arms and it smells amazing! It actually stays on your skin and lingers out through the day. I love this!"

Horrible!
"This is by far the worst scent I have ever bought from Bath and Body Works. I tend to order online instead of going into the store, so it is always a risk I take but I have never disliked a scent more than this one. It has a very strong cheap perfume smell. It doesn't smell fresh or clean at all. They need to get rid of this one quick!"

It's ok...
"I currently have this scent in my shower right now, and I have to say I am a little disapointed. I really like the way it smells in the bottle, but once you lather up with it on the loofah, the smell is very faint. I can barely smell it by the time I am done with my shower. I have not tried the lotion or body spray yet, but maybe those will help in boosting the scent a little more. It's just that the shower gel is a little weak. I still do like the scent of it though."
