Overpowering Cologne Scent: Does NOT match
"I love Twilight Woods! The fragrance of the moisturizers and mist is subtle, warm, sexy and perfect for the colder months. The shower gel just does not smell right. It has a heavy cologne or incense fragrance that is not my style at all. In fact the first couple of times I smelled TW in the store it was the shower gel and I thought I hated it! I finally smelled it on a friend and fell in love. I definitely say skip the shower gel of this line but enjoy all the other TW products. They are divine."

color change!!!!!!!!
"i love the smell of twilight woods, i think the origonal color also atracted to the scent. im giving this scent less stars than i normally would because of the change in design. when i think of twilight woods i imagine candle lit warmth,a sweet musky scent, thats mysterious and sexy. i HATE the desighn and new color sceme, the one befor was perfect for what it was. the way the bottle used to look was the way the scent made me feel when i was wearing it. im dissipointed in the change that was made and many of my friends are to! If it isnt broke dont fix it!"

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, Twilight Woods is a favorite in the body care. It's a wonderfully warm, woodsy scent. Having said that, the shower gel is inconsistent with the rest of the body care line. It smells very different, almost like Sensual Amber or something along those lines. It's just missing that oomph that I love about TW. I will say that the shower gel is very strong and is one of the few that leaves my skin lightly scented."

What did they do with Twilight Woods?
"Years ago when this came out, I got it as a gift from my sister-in-law. She and I are on totally different planets. She's earthy, I'm metro. I thought, why on earth would she buy me perfume?? Honestly the scent did not match me at all, however as time went on I used it anyway. I eventually came to love it, and I smelled it all around me all the time, as it grew in popularity.
I have to ask, what did they do with THAT Twilight Woods?? It's gone. I don't smell it on anyone else anymore. I never thought that I would dislike this scent again, but I do now. They've revamped it in to an common inscense and patchouli-oil smell. I'm all for new scents from BBW but don't destroy a perfectly good and extremely popular one in the process."

Even my husband loves it
"I put this in the shower last week on the first really cold morning because I wanted a nice warm scent to get me going. I figured my husband wouldn't like it at all, but he still has half a bottle of white citrus that he loves. When I got home that night he made a point of telling me how much he loves the new purple shower gel (although I agree with others, the color is weird). He said he loves that it smells like a light incense we used to buy years ago & he's right. It's slightly exotic without being overpowering & obviously it works for a man or woman. Great cold weather scent all around."

Love Twilight Woods- dislike the soaps
"In my opinion, the bubble bath and shower gel scents are inconsistent with the rest of the line. TW is one of my favorite scents and the creaminess and depth is best pronounced in the EDT, lotion, cream, mist, and creamy wash. I don't understand why the soaps and even the candle and wallflowers have an off smell about them."

"First I would like to say that I do not like the color change to violet, even though the color itself I love. This is supposed to be a warm fragrance where you feel like you're cocooning yourself in blankets whilst it snows outside, or bundled up in cozy clothes whilst crunching along leaves as you take an autumn stroll through the woods. The violet color doesn't correlate with what the fragrance is supposed to get across.
Bath and Body Works, I ask you, what is your infatuation with everything being brightly colored? Some things DO NOT need tampering or altering! You should've kept it the original color as it adds to the festivity and allure of the fragrance itself.
Now that I'm done with the color change, I haven't been able to smell this fragrance recently to see if you've absolutely destroyed it from how fantastic it used to be, so my review is solely based on how it smelled when it first came out. You're notorious for coming out with something perfect as it is and ruining it, thinking you're making it better but you're not. QUIT CHANGING THINGS!!!
I highly enjoy this fragrance, but not so much to say as I absolutely love it. It is unique; it's warm, sultry, sexy, cozy and has hints of a woodsy, musky spice. It's a lovely fragrance if you're dressing up and going out, and it's also lovely for lounging around home during the cold months. Fragrance invokes certain feelings and stirs my imagination; if I can imagine details of what I'm wearing or what I could be doing while wearing a fragrance because of how it smells, it's probably a good fragrance. If I don't have these flashes in my imagination, it's garbage. I don't know about others, but I wear fragrance according to season; for me this is strictly an autumn/winter fragrance, and maybe early spring when the cold air is still reminiscent of snow.
Overall, it's great fragrance I hope you haven't tampered with."

Don't make it purple!
"Please go back to brown. It was beautiful and rich when it was brown, almost like honey when you put it on your bath pouf. It was different than all the wildly colored products at BBW. It was beautiful in it's difference.
Make the label purple. It was pretty, the contrast with the brown inside of the bottle was stunning. Purple is just.... blech. I love purple but it doesn't make the stuff inside shine."

Deliciously Woodsy
"Twilight Woods is one of my go-to scents, as I feel like you can never go wrong with this warm and lovely scent. It's comforting yet sexy, and the shower gel leaves behind lightly fragranced skin and an amazing smelling bathroom, since the scent has a tendency to linger. I highly recommend every product in this fragrance!"

Creamy and Sexy!
"To be fair, I haven't tried the new formulation but assuming that the fragrance hasn't changed, this is great. Especially nice for fall and winter, a little spicy, very warming. Apparently it contains fruit notes but I don't notice them, it's really more of a gourmand spicy musky scent. Wonderful! Perfect for snuggling by a warm fire with your sweetie ;)."

Leaves you drowning in Twilight Woods!
"This an amazing shower gel! 5 stars! The whole bathroom smells like Twilight Woods, and so do you! Its very strong and lasts for a long while. Its really difficult to explain how it smells but i am sure everyone has smelled, right? I guarantee you will not regret buying this (unless you hate Twilight Woods) its worth every dollar! And if you joined BBW at the Fragrance Party the gave you a gift, one choice being, getting this amazing shower gel!"

Sweet and woodsy
"I bought this scent because I liked the name and the notes in it.
Twilight Woods reminds me of sitting on your back porch on a humid summer night, while eating marshmallows and burning vanilla incense.Then the wind picks up and you can smell the fragrance from nearby mimosa trees and wild honeysuckle bushes.
This scent has a mild smokey note that is rich and warm with a touch of sweetness.It is light and not overpowering.I would describe Twilight Woods as being a cross between an oriental and floral perfume.It is warm and cozy.
I don't like perfumes that are too sweet, but this one is an exception.
I would not wear this scent often in the fine mist form because sweet notes can tend to be cloying.But, I would use this body wash on a regular basis.

An Unfortunate Recognition
"I loved this scent when it first came out - I think I liked it so much in the beginning because I wanted to like it so much. I like warm, natural scents so the name and earth-toned packaging had me before I even smelled the stuff. Don't get me wrong, I still like Twilight Woods and have always thought it was a unique scent, but just recently I was using the shower gel and made the connection that to me it smells just like Brown Sugar and Fig, which I thought was sickeningly sweet. It tones down and smells more subtle once out of the shower, but now that I've made the connection, I'm afraid Twilight Woods will not be the same:-("
