True to Nature
"Fresh Balsam is a fragrance that is natural and true-to-nature. To burn it is like taking a walk through a pine forest, or setting up a Christmas tree. Interestingly enough, though Fresh Balsam is a must around the winter holidays, it is a crisp, refreshing and pleasant fragrance year-round. I prefer it to lemony scents in the kitchen, and love to burn it on my screened porch on summer evenings. It has an excellent burn and a good throw.
I gave one of the 3-wicks to a friend (male) who quickly burned through it on the mantle above his gas fireplace, and is now disappointed that the stores are out of them. BBW, this is one you should keep in stores beyond the winter season!"

My favorite holiday scent!
"I've been buying this candle the past three Christmases, and there's nothing like it to put you in the holiday mood! This is coming from someone who doesn't even like the holidays or the winter...now that's saying a lot! I light it when I'm putting up the tree, when I'm sipping on hot cocoa in my pj's, when I'm curled up on the couch with a good book...you get the idea! The scent is strong, almost like you went out into the woods and cut down your own tree in the snow! I've tried all the other Christmas scents like Holly Wreath, Mistletoe, Candy Cane, but none compare to this one! Please don't discontinue it!"

PERFECT TREE SCENT
"This is one of my favorite Christmas/ Winter scents. When I put up my tree for the season, I love lighting this candle. It makes me think I have just gone out in the woods and cut down a fresh tree. The fragrance is realistic, pleasant and not overly heavy.
I stock up on this scent and burn it year 'round. I highly recommend."

Best Holiday Scent!
"I have bought this candle scent for the past three holiday seasons. It is the best pine-scented candle bar none. The best thing about it is you don't even have to light the candle to fill the room, because the 3-wick candle is so aromatic on it's own! I light it when I know I'll be at home most of the day, otherwise I just leave the lid off and let it work its magic. This is the best holiday scent, and it gets me into the Christmas spirit! Don't ever discontinue please!"

a bit of the northwest in the desert
"I light these candles and I immediately am transformed to standing in the damp aromatic woods of the northwest, which has been my lifelong home. Extremely aromatic candle with many complements from visitors in my home. After a few hours of burning, I extinguish the flame and the aroma lingers for hours. I intend to reorder though am not likely to burn in the heat of the summer. in southern Utah's red rock country."

pleasantly surprised
"I was buying Christmas candles and decorations online when I came across this scent. I was trying to get away from my usual cinnamon and cloves scent I use every year. I am usually scared to buy outside my comfort zone but this candle had great reviews so I went for it! I am so happy I did. It is my new favorite scent."

"YOU'LL WISH YOU READ THIS PRIOR TO SUBMITTING ORDER! I'm SERIOUSLY STARTING TO WONDER IF BBW DOESN'T LIST "TOP-RATED", Etc., for only the items that **AREN'T SELLING WELL! UPON ATTENDING A WARM CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT MY HOME LAST YEAR EVERYONE PRESENT RECEIVED BBW SCENTED CANDLES, HOWEVER THE 6 gifted this one- WE SHARED TEARS FROM LAUGHING SO HARD FOR THE DREADFUL "FRESH BALSAM" WAS ANYTHING BUT FRESH! THE LAUGH DESERVES 1 STAR, at least- NOT THE CANDLE! I read a review title: "Smells like REAL TREES!" I'm floored but wondering, "WHERE? THE DESERT?" "A landfill?" PLEASE, find a candle you know and trust. My party consisted of 25-SOLID. NOT ONE LIKED THIS SCENT. We COULDN'T ALL BE WRONG, Ya know...just sayin..."

"I purchased this candle today. I put one in my living room and within less than an hour, it filled the entire downstairs (approximately 1700 sq ft) with this amazing fresh scent. Although, my daughter didn't like how it smelled in the store, once I lit it, she loved it too. Even my husband, who never says anything one way or another about candles, told me that it smelled good. It is very strong, so I wouldn't suggest using it in a small or enclosed room. For a bedroom or bathroom, I suggest that you use the smaller size."

Better than I thought
"I'm really not into "tree" scents, but was pleasantly surprised when I burned this candle. It's not often that men like candles, but this is one even they will appreciate. One of the BBW sales associates said she burned Fresh Balsam with Frosted Cranberry and the scents blended very well. Guess I'll have to try that! Another high score for Slatkin/BBW. THANKS!"

Too overpowering
"It isn't a kind of fragrance I like...
The fragrance is too overpowering that gives me a headache.
Even without burning the candle and with the lid closed, I can smell the fragrance so I put it in my bathroom, which works in this case.
