Strong....in a good way
"This one is POTENT. I love how you can light this candle during the holidays and make your house smell festive. Even if you don't use it during the holidays, this one is good for masking any odors in your place as it is very, very strong. It has a strong scent that will make your house smell very good. It will get rid of ALL odors. This is the only candle you need to light. don't mix it with other candles, as this one is enough to do the job. I like using this more to get rid of any bad food smells than I do for the pleasure of smelling the actual cinnamon. It isn't just a sweet cinnamon smell, so expect a potency that will fill your whole house, even if you only put it in one room. Of all the candles I've used, this one spreads the most quickly to every room. I have to put it out very quickly or else my eyes will water."

"I love Cinnamon & Clove Buds! I like to use this scent all year round. I have an indoor dog and this scent is perfect to keep my house smelling nice and fresh. I also like it in the wallflower."

Not a fan
"Love the scent......but lately I have been having issues with the performance of the candles. They are not burning properly. It's not just this scent, but a couple of others as well. They burn down so far and then I am left with 2/3 of the candle left. I'm not doing anything differently than I normally would. These are too expensive to waste! Will reconsider buying candles from B&B again."

Perfect fall/winter scent!
"This is the perfect mix of cinnamon and clove as it doesn't have an overwhelming power of either. The throw of the candle is good down to the last half inch or so (until it stops burning). I have purchased several of these for myself as this is one of my favorite BBW candles as well as one for my parents. It's such a nice, warm and inviting scent."

wonderfully spicy, but not for everyone

Excellent scent
"I prefer spicy scents and this fits that description. Not too much cinnamon, not too much clove. Excellent throw even when it is burned down to 1/2 inch. Perfect fall/winter scent."

"So many of the BBW Candles I LOVE but this one didn't do much for me. In fact I could barely tell the difference between it and "SPICE" and I found neither to have any kind of a decent throw. But then, I like my candles strongly scented."

"I love the smell of cinnamon at Christmas time and this candle fits the bill with just enough clove to give it a twist. Burns perfectly . My only complaint is that the throw could be a bit stronger."

"This makes you feel cozy, relaxed and keeps you feeling like the holidays are alive. The scent spreads out everywhere and it lives up to it's name, cinnamon and clove buds when its lit and unlit. Which is fantastic, everyone enjoys walking around my home being greeted by this fragance. Its not overwheleming but its not invisible. Dont hesitate to buy this if you like a warming scent like this (or if its on sale, STOCK UP)"

Plastic smell
"Maybe it's just me, but this candle has a strong plastic smell. Also, drowning wicks were an issue. Returned it with no problems. Love BBW's customer service!"

Smells Amazing In Store
"I picked this up at the beginning of November. It smells AMAZINF in store and when you first burn it. I loved it! It really fills the room and has great scent payoff. BUT after you burn it for a while, like when it gets about halfway burnt, it starts to lose the cinnamon smell and all you get is clove. ALOT of clove, very spicy. I do recommend it though because it smells great for like a week or so..."

Lovely scent for the holidays
"Ooh, this is such a wonderful wonderful scent! It is VERY strong, so if you don't care for strong fragrances, this one may not be for you. This is a warm, welcoming scent, that just smells like Thanksgiving and Christmas! It is a perfect blend of cinnamon and cloves... I don't think one particularly overpower each other. They blend perfectly. I will buy this year after year!"

Just what I love
"Love this candle ... wicks all burned evenly. The scent was perfect for me. I like the heavier scents, if you don't, you might not enjoy this candle. I only burn it 30 minutes at a time, and my house smells yummy for hours. So the candle lasts longer than others I have used."

Not what I was expecting
"I thought I would really like this one, as cinnamon and clove are two of my favorite spices; especially clove. But, somehow, this candle just doesn't work for me. Maybe its the way the two scents are blended? I was very excited to try this candle, but ended up being disappointed."

"Perfect smell for the holidays and cold days. It reminds me of those pine cones and brooms that are cinnamon scented and that make my home cozy, inviting and ready for the happiness of Christmas. Strong throw but not overpowering. I love it!"
