Light scent
"I love Winter Candy apple! I burned this candle in my living room and I have to say that the throw is lighter than expected. BUT, I loved the scent of this candle! I like to mix scents in my house and like to burn this with the marshmallow fireside candle. It makes for a really toasty sweet scent that I love! Overall, I love this candle!"

Surprised!
"I'm a bit surprised at the negative reviews. I'm usually quite critical of these candles but I was really pleased with this one. Nice, even burn and the scent is terrific with a great throw. I didn't have any issues with this candle."

Sweet...!
"I never thought to buy this candle for myself. I tend to like "warmer" apple scents in the winter and fall and "fresh" apple scents in the spring and summer. I received this as a Christmas gift but I'm glad I did.This is an extremely sweet candy scent but it smells really good."

Smells Like Baby Powder

Not the best
"I really love this scent and was super excited to try the candle! However, I was really disappointed with this one. The cold throw is great and smells just like the Winter Candy Apple body care. Once I started burning it, all I could smell was a faint, cherry medicine type smell. This one is sadly going back to the store for me ):"

Not the best
"I love, love, love Winter Candy Apple and I love the candles from B&BW, When we opened this one, it smelled like Winter Candy Apple, but when we burned it, it didn't have the same strong scent that their other candles have had. I was really looking forward to this one, but was disappointed. In fact, after we lit the candle last night, we kept checking on it to see if it had blown out. There was a small area around the candle that smelled like a generic sweet candle, but definitely not like the Winter Candy Apple I adore. It did burn evenly though, like all the other B&BW candles we own."

"Yum! Bought this for someone for Christmas , I'm sure she will love it! It smells nice and I like how big these candles are! A+! The only con is that I wish they were a tad bit cheaper :) Otherwise, great job!!"

NO Smell
"I've been burning 3 wicks for years now. I'm also an online shopper, so I depend on reviews and descriptions. Once in a while there is one like this that does NOTHING. I bought Farmstand Apple in the fall and WOW, it was amazing - so strong, burned well, throw was great! Then gone...so I looked for a Winter Apple scent and went with this one. Wrong. Opened the candle and there was a good strong smell. Burned it for 3 hours the first time and my husband said "is that just a red candle?" He knows that these things smell up the whole house and even he was wondering what was up. I continued to burn it with faith...and today I am at the end and there is NADA!
Eh, live and learn. Don't buy this one."

No candy apple scent at all!
"I really love foody scents and wanted to try out this one because I love the candy caramel apples you can buy everywhwere in the christmas time. I'm very disappointed from this candle because it really smells like a flowery plastic! There is no sweetness in it and it is definitely no cozy scent. I love scents like honey autumn apple and expected this one as a more caramelly version of honey autumn apple with less nectarine in it but I was wrong.I really have to say that I love the batch, it is making my mouth watery and makes me buy this.But after smelling I wont buy again. I love the scents like peppermint mocha, hot buttered rum, chocolate bacon cupcake, saltd caramel and my favourite is CINNAMON SUGARED DONUT; PLEASE DONT DISCONTINUE!"

Not for me...
"No, thank you. I did not like winter candy apple, at all. To me, this candle smelled like plastic in a very bad way. I thought it was off putting.
Luckily, there are so many other candles to chose from :) And thank you, B&BW, for great customer service and a wonderful exchange policy!
Lately I'm finding out my sense of smell is very different from a lot of people's. I feel like I end up liking candles people generally dislike (food scents and overly sweet ones) and I end up hating people's all time favorites (such as Leaves, Twisted Peppermint and this one, for example). I guess we can't all like the same scents, huh :)
Performance-wise, I'm sure it burns beautifully for other people; I trust the wicks. But I'll leave this one alone in the future."

"i ordered this one thru the B&BW website since they didnt carry it in my local B&BW store. Not knowing what it smelled like, i didnt really know what to expect. All in all, its OKAY if you love apple scents. I dont really smell the "orange zest" part in it, its basically like your typical apple smelling candle. Not really any other way to explain it. I expected it to smell a little bit sweeter, but its still a wonderful smelling candle. Not too strong but not too light either. And the burn performance is wonderful"

"We brought the hand sanitizer in the winter candy apple scent when we went to Disney World a few yrs ago during xmas. My kids everytime they get a whiff of this wonderful scent are instantly thinking about how much fun we had. I stock up on the winter candy apple candles so we can enjoy this amazing scent year round. My daughter loves the body spray in this scent too"

Surprise.....
"This one was truly a surprise for me. I thought when I opened the lid in the store it was going to be sweet like a candied apple. Boy was I wrong, its delightful. The wax pool developed within 8 minutes, nice and even. Gorgeous candle when lit. Overall, I'm very impressed with this purchase, will definitely be repurchasing more today."
