"I almost never repurchase anything fragranced, because no matter how much I love it in the beginning, by the end, I've almost always had my fill of the scent by the end. Not with this Ocean Sunset soap. I've already repurchased it a couple times--and I'm not done with it. It smells SO good. It's a very "beachy" scent without being overly fruity like many tropical scents are. The fragrance is Ocean Sunset is difficult to describe. It smells more like it should be a perfume than a hand soap. I get a lot of orange blossom (not orange/citrus--but the actual orange blossom, which is one of my favorite scents) and a definite "clean" note (which I guess is where other reviewers' comparisons to Tide come in). In high school, I wore a fragrance from Gap called Heaven that was heavy on white musk. White musk isn't listed as a fragrance note on this soap, but Ocean Sunset reminds me a bit of Heaven.
I bought a couple bottles of Ocean Sunset last summer, and I've already bought some to have on hand for this summer. Last year when I had it in my powder room, a lot of people remarked on how good the soap smelled.
The fragrance is five stars. I'm docking it a star because all of BBW's anti-bacterial soaps dry my hands out SOOOO bad. But, I keep buying them because I'm very picky about fragrance in products I buy, and I have yet to find any hand soaps with scents that I like as much as BBW's. They smell fantastic, but if you have sensitive skin, just keep in mind that these soaps can be incredibly drying."
