AMAZING!!
"I don't usually write reviews for products I purchase but I could not resist writing one for the Japanese Cherry Blossom EDT because it is simply AMAZING! I started wearing it about 4 years ago and have not found another scent I find more pleasing. I wear it all times of the year and it lasts and lasts. It has a sweet flowery scent that is both fresh and sensual. Every guy I have ever been with has loved it and complemented me on it. Even strangers have stopped me and asked me what perfume I wear. It is a staple in my fragrance cabinet!"

Love it!!
"A few years ago I was shopping with a friend right after Christmas. I bought JCB on sale and later in the same day received a gift basket. I've been hooked ever since. I don't like the price, so I've never bought it unless it was on sale(which thankfully is quite often). I use the shower gel, lotion, and the frangrance mist. I don't know why so many have said that this has no staying power. I've recieved many compliments hours after I've used any of the JCB products whether it was just the shower gel or more. My husband loves it too, so that's another reason why I keep going back for more. :)"

Japanese Cherry Blossom EDT
"In 2009 BBW changed this beautiful scent. It's weak & a totally different scent with absolutely NO STAYING POWER, that BARELY, if at all, resembles the original beautiful scent it once was. I use to get many compliments when I wore this.
All the notes are totally different. --it does not smell ANYTHING like the original scent.
Bath and Body--BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCENT!! I have not found anything to replace this beautiful unique scent.
We all know the expression, If it's not broken--why try and fix it?"

Nice Scent, No Lasting Power
"I think JCB is a nice musky scent that's perfect for fall or a night out to dinner. I disagree that it's an "older" or "mature" scent.. I'm only 20 and have been wearing it off and on for the last two years. It's not a favorite of mine, but I've found it on sale a few times and can't resist a deal.
That being said, the EDT has ZERO lasting power. I could douse myself in this and the people around me would never know. However, I like the bottle and display it in my bathroom for anyone who wants to use it. If I had paid full price I may have been ticked, haha"

"It's more of a mature scent, but it actually lasts all day for me, which is new as most perfumes wear off fast and I don't have the time or money to sit there and bathe in it every two seconds. It's great for the professional atmosphere."

No scent???
"I do not know why but I can never seem to smell anything with the JCB products, just a super super faint floral smell. I have tried smelling this directly on my skin, on a tester, in candle form and as a body wash and I just can't smell anything at all?
I guess it's really popular because it is basically BBW closest thing to "unscented" that they carry in the store?
But then I don't understand why would you want a perfume that doesn't have any scent? It has always baffled me that this has won an award, but so many people do seem to like it ....
Overall my recommendation is to smell this before you buy each product, and do not go on its reputation alone, even at its great price I would not buy an unscented perfume!"

I wish it stayed longer.
"I really love this scent it smells so nice, I've even gotten compliments on it. But I have to agree with some people here that I don't think it lasts very well. I don't have time to put on (or the money to buy) everything else in this line to layer it on to ensure the smell stays, so its a little frustrating. If it had good staying power I would gladly pay this price, but since it goes away so quickly I think it should be lower, it also makes me hesitant to buy any other eau de toilette from bath and body works."

spicy!
"i really like jcb. it's spicy and sweet, not overpowering. a few spritzes lasts a nearly all day. a very sensual and tempting scent, i think. my husband loves it! ;) after a while, i got a little bored of it though. but i'll just move on to the next scent i have and come back to it later."

Great scent
"My mother bought me everything Japanese Cherry Blossom scented for Christmas this year, and I was worried, because when I smelled it when it first came out, I thought it smelled a little "old" for me (I am in my mid-twenties). However, now that I had all the stuff, I figured I had better use it, and I am so glad I gave it another chance! It's a nice light scent that it perfect for anytime. Friends often ask what I am wearing and are surprised it's not something more expensive. I find it much more appropriate to wear during the day than many of my other perfumes, which are a bit heavier. If you are like me and didn't like it at first, give it another shot!"

Worth Trying Again
"Back when this scent first came out, I wasn't a fan at all. But recently, something tempted me to try it again and I'm really glad I did, because now, years later, I loved it. In some ways, it seems like a floral Black Amethyst- it's very exotic and sophisticated. It's equally appropriate for daytime wear in professional settings and for night. I first bought the body cream, shower gel and fragrance mist and after wearing them for a couple weeks, went back and splurged on the EDT. The EDT has a slightly stronger scent, which I really like- it tops off the layering process perfectly!
Bottom line: if you tried this before and weren't a fan, it's really worth another sniff!"

Makes my Sister Huggable!
"Yesterday my younger sister (almost 15) was getting ready to go to a friends house and she walked by me. She smelled so yummy I had to ask what it was. Of course me being the very "uncool" older sibling she just rolled her eyes at me. I ran and gave her a big hug and refused to let go till she told me. hehe. She finally gave in and told me it was this perfume. I had always passed this one by in the store but today I'm going to give it another try!"

Wonderful
"I use this on a dayli basis. Men often come and ask me "what perfume I am wearing" so that they can purchase it for their wives or girlfriends. Alot of men and women often compliment me on the wonderful scent. I enjoy it so much that I have purchased several items of this fragrance. Definately well priced. Last a long time even with daily use. One of the best products I have ever used."

"Japanese Cherry Blossom is my signature scent and the EDT just sets it off. It's sweet, it's floral, it's nice, and I love it! If you love floral scents, do not pass this one up. It's lovely!"

Exotic, Sexy fragrance
"This is so for the sensual woman. Not a little girly smell. I spritz one spray on my pulse points every morning and always get asked what I'm wearing. Some negative comments made on this site must be due to the combo of their body chemisty and this fragrance. Only bold, confident women should wear this. If really young, go for the sweet flower smells offered, this isn't for you!"

Pleasantly surprised!
"Over the years, I've used JCB when the mood hits me. I use the body cream or body butter on my feet before bed, the lotion on my hands, but have never used it all over, as I find the scent of the lotions too strong. I tried the fragrance mist for a little while, but it didn't impress me.
While in the store last week, I sampled the EDT and was surprised at how nice it was. I bought a bottle of it the day after Christmas on sale, and I am so surprised at how nice it is. It develops well and doesn't overpower. It doesn't give me a headache or make me sneeze, and I'm quite sensitive to florals. I'd classify this as a floral oriental, and if you're drawn to those type of scents, then you might like this.
No question: I'll be wearing this for quite a while."

Good lotion, BAD Eau de Toilette.
"I went to Bath and Body Works just sniffing around (haha!), and I came across this one-of-a-kind scent. I haven't been to B&B works in a while, so I wasn't aware of the Eau de Toilette version of "Japanese Cherry Blossom". When this scent first came out I was in love, so I bought the lotion and body wash. I was so excited to see this gorgeous bottle (which I have to say, would have won me over) and was even more excited that it was an EDT. That is, until i smelt it. It is very VERY strong. All I could smell was a "cheap" scent to it. I was very disappointed. As for the other products, I would DEFINITELY recommend the lotion, body wash, or even the mist. Just NOT the Eau de Toilette."

"My dad and I bought this for my mom as a Mother's Day present a few years ago. I love the scent and asked if I could use it occasionally, but we ran out quickly because my mom loves it so much! Such a pretty and exotic scent."

"Japanese Cherry Blossom is one of the best fragrances ever! It's warm and cozy – perfect for the winter months! It has many floral notes to it, and is quite unique. The Eau de Toilette is very good quality perfume, and lasts a long time. I would highly recommend trying it!"

Fabulous Scent and Bottle!
"I am loving the new Japanese Cherry Blossom Eau de Toilette! The scent stays on all day which makes me very happy! This scent is true to the description and I detect spices, woods and everything one could dream of in an exotic Japanese garden. Japanese Cherry Blossom in my opinion is a scent that is relaxing and one that creates an environment of harmony. I am really enjoying the newly designed EDT bottles. They are wonderful and kudos to the designer of both the new wonderful, lasting fragrance and the gorgeous bottles!
Japanese Cherry Blossom is a great scent for all year round, no matter what the season and is truly a wonderful part of the Bath and Body Works Signature Collection. I will most definitely be purchasing this again when my bottle runs out."
